P2/3 have been developing their understanding of Shape and space - position and movement. The children have had lots of fun practically moving items on our alphabet mat based on given instructions. They worked in pairs to direct their partner to different areas of our mat. We have also been programming BeeBot and coding on Just2Easy.
As today is Worlds Maths Day we took our learning outdoors. We had fun placing our objects above, below, in front, behind, beside various things in our playground. We also hid our items and gave our partner directions to find them. 😁⬆️⬇️⤵️
