Practical numeracy 😊

This week P2/3 have been introduced to area. We enjoyed comparing objects to see what covered the most space on our mat. We also practiced measuring the area of 2d shapes using non-standard units.

P2 are learning how to add on a number line. We took turns rolling the dice to make an addition sum and hopped along our giant number line to find out the answer.😊

P3 have been practising adding 10, 11 and 9 and using their 100 squares.
