We spent the first part of the morning discussing the importance of play indoors and outdoors. Pupils were able to make interesting observations regarding why there is a day allocated for play and appreciate its importance as well as understanding how lucky we are to have the choice to play. We learned about children from certain countries where they have to work 12-14 hour shifts in terrible conditions.
We enjoyed playing some games that we thought we don’t play enough of anymore!
