P6 & 7s took advantage of the beautiful autumn weather today, to go outside in pairs and gather 5 different types of leaves. We discussed evergreen and deciduous trees, simple and compound leaves, why leaves change colour, their properties, and finally, the pupils had to try and identify the names of leaves they found on the school grounds.
